Spending the night in the open on top of Table Mountain is the most humbling experience ever. The peace and tranquility away from modernity is overwhelming...makes me miss Uganda, my home. Clear skies away from the distraction of electricity, total silence away from the bustle of city traffic, loud neighbours etc.

It's been a long week spent staring at the computer, to avoid mental block I'm not going home tonight, and I'm not sleeping in the office either. If you are lucky to have been in Cape Town, or live here for that matter then you will know that Table Mountain is the best. I happen to work right at the foot of this beautiful Mountain, but thanks to my busy schedule, I only get to the top a couple times a year. So tonight is the big night...

You figured it, I'm going to spent the night on top of the world. How about a whole mountain for a mattress??

Today, I'm sharing my office with a spider. Even though I'm a biologist, I know nothing about spiders. I will keep an eye on my friend...and keep you posted.
