Beautiful sky

Spending the night in the open on top of Table Mountain is the most humbling experience ever. The peace and tranquility away from modernity is overwhelming...makes me miss Uganda, my home. Clear skies away from the distraction of electricity, total silence away from the bustle of city traffic, loud neighbours etc.

Table Mountain

The last time I was there...

It's been a long week spent staring at the computer, to avoid mental block I'm not going home tonight, and I'm not sleeping in the office either. If you are lucky to have been in Cape Town, or live here for that matter then you will know that Table Mountain is the best. I happen to work right at the foot of this beautiful Mountain, but thanks to my busy schedule, I only get to the top a couple times a year. So tonight is the big night...

You figured it, I'm going to spent the night on top of the world. How about a whole mountain for a mattress??

Cycle tour

The Cape Argus pick n pay, cycle tour is the World's largest individually timed cycle race. This year there were about 35,000 cyclists from 60 countries.

After 109km and 4hrs 12minutes later, I needed a well deserved break...
